IBPS RRB
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, popularly known as IBPS, conducts Common Written Examinations (CWE) for recruitment in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). The RRBs are sponsored by various banks and managed by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
The CWE exam is conducted in two phases: a written test and an interview. A candidate who qualifies for both these phases is eligible to be considered for recruitment. The probation period is generally two years. After successful completion of the probation period, the candidate will become a permanent employee of the respective bank.
