Positioning in Nifty 50 options hints at an index range of 16,500–18,000 points for the coming week.

The Nifty 50 has been fluctuating over the past three weeks, trading in a range of 16800 to 17350 points. Tall wicks on both ends of the candles for the past three weeks suggest traders’ uncertainty as a result of volatility. Support for the index will be at 16800 points, while the primary resistance zone will be between 17200 and 17300.

Dow Jones and Nasdaq Index Today

650 points, or 2.21%, were added to the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite rose 3.33% while the S&P 500 increased by 2.75%.

After posting its best quarterly net interest income in at least ten years, Bank of America Corp. increased. Treasury rates decreased along with the dollar, but UK bonds and the pound increased.

Liz Truss’ and his predecessor’s proposed tax policies are being reversed “nearly entirely,” according to Britain’s new finance minister Jeremy Hunt.

DAX Index

As investors maintained their attention on a weeklong Communist Party meeting in China, global markets were generally higher on Monday.

Early trade saw the French CAC 40 rise 0.5% to 5,961.27. The DAX in Germany increased 0.5% to 12,498.72. The FTSE 100 in Britain increased 0.5% to 6,894.84. The S&P 500 future increased by 0.9%, while the Dow industrials future saw a gain of 0.7%.

S and P 500

Stocks rose after more of UK Prime Minister Liz Truss’ unfunded tax cuts were reversed after the S&P 500 broke through a technical level that previously served as a rally catalyst.

The developments follow a wild week on Wall Street, during which the S&P 500 recorded its fifth-largest intraday turnaround from a low in history on Thursday, despite consumer price data showing that inflation persisted in its inexorable march throughout the U.S. economy in the previous month. Even yet, the benchmark index declined for the week.

SGX Nifty

Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange moved up 119.5 points, or 0.69 percent, to close at 17,093.5, indicating Dalal Street will begin the week on the wrong foot.

The volatility of Indian stocks is anticipated to continue to follow general market patterns. Since multiple corporations are expected to release financial results, investors’ attention will be mostly on the September quarter reports. However, despite holiday happiness in the lead-up to Diwali, it is anticipated that the negative for stocks would be moderate.
