RRB Group D as Railway Jobs

Educational Qualifications- 

The candidate must have passed class 10th board examination OR ITI/Diploma from a recognized board/institution.

Age Limit- 

18-33 years

Nationality- 

The candidate should be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, or a migrant of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Burma, Zambia, Vietnam, and other neighboring countries with an Indian origin.

Selection Process- 

Candidates must go through 3 stages to qualify for the examination. These are:- CBT(Computer Based Test), PET(Physical Endurance Test), and Document Verification. 

Posts- 

Helper, Fitter, Cabinman, Welder, Porter, Lever, etc.

Salary- 

The basic salary of RRB Group D staff is around Rs.18000/-.

Other Benefits- 

Night duty allowance, holidays compensation, Medical facilities, good posting areas for women candidates, etc.

Future Prospects- 

RRB Group D candidates can appear for departmental exams for higher posts after 3 years of service. The hierarchy of promotion is as follows: Technician S Grade 3> Technician S Grade 2> Technician S Grade 1 > Master Craftsman.

RRB ALP

Educational Qualifications- 

The candidate must have passed the class 10th board examination with a Diploma in Engineering from a recognized board/institution.

Age Limit- 

18 to 30 years.

Nationality- 

The candidate should be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, or a migrant of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Burma, Zambia, Vietnam, and other neighboring countries with an Indian origin.

Selection Process- 

A candidate has to go through 4 stages to get qualified: RRB ALP stage 1, RRB ALP stage 2, Computer-Based Aptitude Test, and Document verification. The question paper is MCQ-based and carries a total of 75 and 175 in stage 1 and stage 2 respectively.

Posts- 

Assistant Loco Pilot/Technicians

Salary- 

The basic pay scale of an ALP is Rs.19,900/month.

Other Benefits- 

House rent, dearness, transport, and running allowances.

Future Prospects- 

The promotion of an Assistant Loco Pilot is as follows-

Senior Assistant Loco Pilot>Loco Pilot>Loco Supervisor. As the post increases, so does the salary.

RPF Constable

Educational Qualification- 

The candidate must have passed the class 10th board examination from a recognized board/institution.

Age Limit- 

18-25 years

Nationality- 

The candidate should be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, or a migrant of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Burma, Zambia, Vietnam, and other neighboring countries with an Indian origin.

Selection Process- 

A candidate must go through 3 phases in order to qualify for the exam. These are CBT Test under Phase 1, Physical Efficiency Test(PET), Physical Measurement Test(PMT) under Phase 2, Document Verification under Phase 3.

Post- 

RPF(Railway Protection Force) Constable.

Salary- 

The Average Salary is 22,000/- month.

Future Prospects- 

The promotion of an RPF Constable is as follows-

Constable>Head Constable>Assistant Constable>Sub Inspector>Inspector.
